From one of James’ earlier airstream paintings, “Hey Dog” was inspired by a cheerful Caravel he passed by in Southern CA- the sister piece to this painting was called, “Other side” and featured the other side of the airstream. The happy retriever in this piece was a wonderful accident by a passerby.
